Wow.
So much happened.
Nothing bad, actually. Life rips these days.
But, I've been talking to my dear MOB members (WW and CX) and we've been talking about the 'demons' in ourselves.
Sounds familiar?
I covered that in my post last year and early this year.
I exorcised my demons and now I'm a brand new person.
The Melissa everyone sees now is a new one.
One full of hope, faith and love.
Those three words mean the world to me.
I recently found out in a book on Christianity that those are the words that all Christians should live by.
And I could not agree less.
They're a trinity.
Without any one of them in us, we won't ever be satisfied or be living our lives to the fullest.
Ah, life.
Anyway, I was browsing news sites and came across this line in a particular article in TIME (Why Scandals Stick. by Nancy Gibbs).
"If there is an antidote to hypocrisy, it's humility: just admitting the possibility of weakness can be a source of strength. As any number of fallen icons can testify, the arrogant and the righteous have the most trouble finding forgiveness when the mistake, duly confessed, is their own."
I don't know how much relation there is to what I was saying, but I just loved it so much.
I hope everyone ponders over it too.
Mwah.
